The Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas is a popular spot for floating and tubing. The crystal clear waters of the Comal provide visitors with the chance to relax on a hot day and enjoy the scenery. There are several companies that offer tube rentals and transportation upriver. Here is a guide to tubing in the Comal River.

First, visitors should pick a tube rental company. There are several options in New Braunfels, including Comal Tubes, Rockin’ R Tubes, and Texas Tubes. Each company offers a different selection of tubes and transportation, so it is important to research the options before making a decision.

Once the rental company has been chosen, visitors should plan their trip. The Comal River is about 2.5 miles long and passes through a number of parks and attractions. It is important to plan the trip so that enough time is allowed to enjoy the scenery and attractions.

Next, it is important to prepare for the trip. Visitors should bring a cooler with plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen. It is also a good idea to bring a waterproof camera to capture the memories. The Comal River can get quite crowded during the summer months, so it is important to be aware of other tubers and follow the rules of the river.

When it is time to go tubing, visitors should make sure they are properly equipped. Most rental companies provide life jackets, but it is important to make sure they are the right size and fit properly. It is also a good idea to bring a tube patch kit in case of a puncture.

Finally, visitors should enjoy the ride! The Comal River is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The river is calm and the current is slow, making it a great spot for tubing. Visitors should take their time and enjoy the ride.

Tubing in the Comal River is a great way to spend a hot day in New Braunfels. The crystal clear waters provide a perfect backdrop for a relaxing float. With a little preparation and planning, visitors can make the most of their trip and create lasting memories.

We are on a day drip from San Antonio to New Braunfels to take a trip down the Comel River, hitting all the tube chutes and having tons of fun! We used Landa River trips, and I would highly recommend them. Their location is at the highest point on the river where you can rent a tube, so ultimately you get the longest trip. I'll leave the link to their site. landarivertrips.com/
