The Saco River in New Hampshire is a popular spot for tubing and other water activities. The river runs from Conway to Fryeburg and is home to many wildlife and plant species. Tubing on the Saco River is a great way to relax and enjoy the scenery. There are many places to rent tubes along the river and the cost is usually around $15-20 for a full day.

When tubing on the Saco River, it is important to be aware of the various hazards. The river is prone to strong currents, so it is important to be aware of your surroundings. It is also important to wear a life jacket while tubing and to be aware of the local regulations, as some areas may be restricted to certain types of activities. Additionally, the water can be cold enough to cause hypothermia, so it is important to dress appropriately.

The best way to get to the river is to take Route 302 from Fryeburg to Conway. There are several access points along this route where you can rent a tube and launch your trip. The most popular launch points are the Fabyan Bridge, the Saco River Canoe & Kayak, and the Saco River Tubing Company. All of these launch points offer tubes, life jackets, and other necessary equipment.

Once you have launched your trip, the most popular route is to take the Saco River to Conway Lake. This route is roughly 8 miles long and can take anywhere from 2-4 hours, depending on the water level and wind. Along the way, there are several stops to take in the scenery, including the Saco River Gorge, the Fabyan Bridge, and the Conway Lake Dam. At the end of the trip, you can exit at the Conway Lake Dam and take the shuttle back to your launch point.
